Billing Frequently Asked Questions
Will I get a monthly bill?
Each month, students will be notified electronically via Springfield College email, that the bill is ready to be viewed. The Springfield College email address is the only address that the email notification will be sent to. It is the students' responsibility to add multiple authorized users to electronically receive the e-bill. Authorized users will receive an electronic statement reflecting the status of your account until the balance is zero.
Can I go on a payment plan?
It’s important to note that you must choose a payment plan option each semester. Students will need to log into PRIDENET to choose a payment plan option. Click on the “My Profile” tab, click “My Student Account” on the left side, and then click “Payment Plan Application.”
Why am I being charged for health insurance?
All students registered in nine or more semester hours will automatically be enrolled in the Springfield College Health Insurance Plan. To accept or decline health insurance enrollment, please refer to the health insurance enrollment link.
If I have a credit on my account, when will I receive the funds?
If a student has a credit balance on their account, a refund check will be issued within 14 days unless the student authorizes the College, in writing, to hold the credit balance for a future semester. A Credit Balance Form is available at the Business Office (located in the Administration Building). You may also have funds electronically deposited into your checking or savings account. To enroll, please visit CASHNET.
