Springfield College Hillel
The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life Springfield College Hillel provides opportunities for Jewish students and faculty and staff members at Springfield College to explore and celebrate their Jewish identity. Hillel helps students find a balance in being distinctively Jewish and universally human by encouraging them to pursue tzedek (social justice), tikkun olam (repairing the world), and Jewish learning. Hillel provides a welcoming environment for Jewish college students, where they are encouraged to grow intellectually, spiritually and socially. SC Hillel puts on many events each semester from Oneg Shabbat services, High Holiday celebrations, and social events. In the fall of 2005, SC Hillel celebrated Sukkot with the first ever Sukkah on the Springfield College campus.
