ID access is now required to enter to numerous academic buildings after 6 p.m.
The safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors are of the highest priority at Springfield College. The College continually and strategically invests in campus safety initiatives to ensure the safest campus experience possible. To this end, the classroom buildings will be locked daily at 6 p.m., and ID card access will be required for entry after that time. Academic buildings to be included in this safety initiative are Herbert P. Blake Hall, Locklin Hall, Weiser Hall, Schoo-Bemis Science Center, and Hickory Hall.
Students, faculty, and staff should carry identification (ID) cards at all times. IDs will be required to gain access to the aforementioned buildings after regular business hours Monday through Thursday, 6-10 p.m. Please note that after-hours access for students will be limited to Monday through Thursday, 6-10 p.m. Faculty will have seven-day access until 10 p.m.
