Kate Ambrose is currently a graduate student at Lesley University. Her academic record, dedication to the profession and excellent essay were a perfect match for the requirements of being selected for this award. Kate will be invited to join us at the May 12, 2006 spring conference in Worcester, MA. At that time, if she is able to attend, she will be presented with the award and asked to speak for a few minutes. We had an outstanding group of applicants and the selection process was very difficult. We had one Simmons student, three from Lesley University and two applicants from the University of Connecticut. Thank you for encouraging your students to apply for this award. Best, Elaine Goldman Simmons College Selection Committee Member 2005 recipient "The Outstanding Educator award is meaningful and tangible recognition of my commitment to the profession.
