Emergency Medical Services Management (EMSM) Program at Springfield College
It takes a special kind of person to have the desire and commitment to learn emergency care for people who are injured, ill, or in crisis. Springfield College Emergency Medical Services Management (EMSM) students have that passion, and quickly become employed after graduation in this fast-growing field. Our EMSM bachelor’s degree program is one of the oldest and most established of only five such programs in the United States, and the only one of
its kind in the Northeast.
Many of our graduates start as paramedics and move into management roles. Others move into regulatory agencies or corporations in emergency medical services (EMS). Course of Study
You’ll learn essential knowledge, technical skills, and management tools at every step of your training. We offer certification-level courses up to and including EMT-paramedic. You’ll be qualified to work in EMS as soon as you hold an EMT-basic certification, and you’ll be eligible for paramedic certification as soon as you complete our field-training. Various ambulance services offer per-diem employment to our students.If you're up to the challenge, we're ready to prepare you.
