Join speakers Lt. Col. William G. Jinks USAFR ’73 and his nephew First Lieutenant Robert G. Jinks ’05 USA in honoring all past and present members of the Springfield College family who serve our country.

Don your grass skirt and flowered shirt for this exquisite Polynesian festival. Enjoy war canoe rides on Lake Massasoit, Polynesian cuisine, and much more. Canoe rides will be available until 4 p.m.

Wine 101
Wine tasting under the authoritative tutelage of wine consultant Dave Boyle ’83, Vice President, Martignetti Companies. Learn the finer points about color, bouquet, and taste of carefully selected wines from the great wine-producing regions of the world, all in a relaxed, al fresco setting.

2:30 p.m.
Movie
Enjoy more South Seas fun with a showing of Blue Hawaii, starring Elvis Presley.

3:15 – 4:15 p.m.
Beer Tasting
Join Dave Boyle ’83, Vice President, Martignetti Companies, for a selection of lagers, ales, wheat beers, and other seasonal selections, along with New England’s favorite beer, Harpoon.

3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Campus Tours
Walking tours, a motor tour, and a tour of new facilities led by John Mailhot, Vice President for Administration and Finance, John Wilcox ’67, Executive Director of Enrollment Management,
and Steve Lafever, Director of Facilities and Campus Services. Walking and motorized tours available.

Fulfilling the Promise!

See first-hand how alumni are fulfilling the promise of Springfield College’s future by helping to complete the Campaign and meet The Kresge Challenge.

The new Field House, the new Wellness Center, and the new Athletic Training/Exercise Science Complex are scheduled to open August 2008. Construction of the new Campus Union will begin in late spring-early summer of 2008.
