Reunion 2008 - Additional Information
REGISTRATION:
Reunion headquarters is located in
Carlisle Foyer, Alumni Hall. Room
reservations and tickets will be picked
up here. If you plan to arrive after
registration hours, notify the Alumni
Office staff by May 31 so we may
welcome you properly. REMEMBER:
REFUNDS REQUIRE 48-HOUR NOTICE.
ALL TICKETS WILL BE PICKED UP AT
REGISTRATION. Please note that there
will be a $14/person late fee for anyone
registering for Saturday’s dinner after
Thursday, June 12. This is the only
event that carries a late fee.
RESIDENCE HALL ROOMS:
Rooms are available in Alumni Hall
at a rate of $28 per single and $39.50
per double. Children under 16 stay free
in the reserved room.
These accommodations contain bare necessities, including linen. NO rooms have private baths. Also remember
these rooms are not air-conditioned.
Fans are suggested.
Special Reminder: Please remember,
alcohol consumed by alumni or their
guests on College grounds must be
purchased through the licensed bar
of the event in question and consumed
at that event.
Springfield College has a fine tradition
of promoting healthy values associated
with its Humanics philosophy, and we
are confident that the Alumni Association
will lend its full support.
SPECIAL NEEDS:
Anyone with special needs should
contact the Alumni Relations staff in
writing at least three weeks in advance
of your arrival at 413-748-3161. Most
buildings are partially or fully accessible.
Maps are available.
BABYSITTING:
For information, check the appropriate
space on the registration form. To ensure proper child/adult ratios,
advance reservations are required.
Requesting this flyer is not equivalent to
making reservations.
RECREATIONAL VEHICLE
INFORMATION:
Springfield College can no longer
accommodate power hook-ups for
recreational vehicles on campus.
PET POLICY:
Springfield College provides welcoming
and exceptional athletic facilities and
fields for the use of our students, alumni,
staff, and guests. However, please be
advised that with the exception of guide
and assist dogs, no pets shall be brought
onto or permitted on any athletic field
or playing surface.
Due to liability issues, pet care
is the responsibility of the owner.

The new Field House, the new Wellness Center, and the new Athletic Training/Exercise Science Complex are scheduled to open August 2008. Construction of the new Campus Union will begin in late spring-early summer of 2008.
