Admission Requirements
Generally, students entering the program will have a strong background or interest in the application of psychology to the workplace. Students with bachelor degrees in psychology, business, sociology, marketing, and related fields will find themselves prepared for studies in I/O Psychology. Work experience in a related field is also a factor when considering potential students. The Industrial/Organizational Psychology Program here at Springfield College does not require students to take the GRE. We have found that students who succeed in our program generally enter the program with a strong background in analytic and human relations skills. A typical student would have demonstrated past academic success with a GPA of approximately 3.0 and above.
