• Grants Resource Center. Extensive web-based resource available to faculty and staff at Springfield College. Membership maintained by Grants & Sponsored Programs. Call x3654 or email Linda Marston for the username and password if you are prompted for them. http://www.aascu.org/grc/
• Western Mass. Funding Resource Center: A free funding-resources library located at 65 Elliott Street near the Quadrangle in downtown Springfield. It is affiliated with The Foundation Center, the premier foundation research organization. Free orientations to the WMFRC are offered regularly. You must attend an orientation prior to using the Center, which includes access to the searchable FC Search CD-ROM. Their website also lists upcoming workshops on grant-related topics. Grants & Sponsored Programs maintains membership status in "Partners Plus." Call before visiting, since their hours and staffing may change on short notice: 452-0615 WMFRC

• Federal Agencies:
  Most agencies have excellent websites including Funding Opportunities or Grants pages. Several have free email-notice services that you can customize according to your funding interests. Agency websites use a common format: www.[agencyname].gov for example: www.ed.gov for the Dept. of Education, www.nih.gov for National Institutes of Health, www.nsf.gov for the National Science Foundation.
