New Summer Study Abroad Program
May 21-June 27, 2012

A Faculty-Led, Six-Week, Study Abroad Dance Program in Italy - Passion, Power & Creative Process: Unmasking Dance in the Italian Renaissance

Join us for an unforgettable summer learning experience in beautiful Italy! This course is designed to introduce students to the historical and artistic origins of dance as a theater art with the focus on developments during the Italian Renaissance. Studies will include Italian folk and court dance forms; ballet and contemporary forms; and Renaissance art, theater design, music, and costumes.

For all students planning to study abroad in Fall 2011. All meetings will be held in the Richard B. Flynn Campus Union -Doggett International Center Room 311
  • February 23 from 4-5 p.m.
    Topics: Preparing your documents; academic advising;

  • March 30 from 4-5 p.m.
    Topics: Health and Safety Abroad; housing; money matters
  • April 20 from 3-5 p.m.
    Topics: Living and studying abroad; packing; culture shock
