Abbey Appleton Hall

Abbey Appleton Springfield College
This co-ed residence hall, houses 200 upperclass residents in double rooms.

Alumni Hall


Rich in Springfield College tradition, this upperclass all-men's residence hall houses 250 residents in adjoining single and double rooms.
  • Large screen TV with cable in foyer, and pool table
  • Kitchen on the first floor
  • Centrally located, convenient to all campus facilities
  • MacLean Terrace overlooking Alumni green, focal point for concerts and special events


Gulick Hall


This co-ed residence hall houses 300 first year students in double rooms.
  • Fully air conditioned
  • Lounges on each floor
  • Large main lounge with game tables and kitchen
  • Limited availability of single rooms, primarily doubles


International Hall


This eight story co-ed building houses 290 students. Residents on upper floors enjoy dramatic views of the Pioneer Valley.
  • Lounges on each floor
  • Limited availability of single rooms, primarily doubles
  • Open during major vacation periods
  • Two kitchen facilities located in basement and 8th floor
  • Large multi-purpose lounge with large-screen television and game tables


Lakeside Hall


Overlooking Lake Massasoit, this freshmen and upperclass co-ed hall houses 110 students.
  • Centrally located and convenient to all campus facilities
  • Main lounge with game tables and kitchenette
  • Co-ed by floor


Living Center


This complex was built in 1991 and houses 200 students in three to six bedroom apartments.
  • Available to juniors and seniors
  • Each apartment has a kitchen/living room area and private bath(s)
  • Fully air conditioned
  • Open during major vacation periods except Thanksgiving weekend and Christmas week


Massasoit Hall


This small co-ed residence hall houses 108 first-year students.
  • Large main lounge with cable TV and game tables
  • Kitchen on the first floor
  • Outdoor deck on the second floor


Reed Hall


A small, co-ed residence hall, Reed Hall houses 150 first-year students.
  • Kitchen on the second floor
  • Lounges on each floor


The Suites


This complex was built in 2004, and houses 200 seniors.
  • suite-style, four-story student residence hall
  • first new student residence for Springfield College since the Townhouses were built 13 years ago
  • each student's room contains telephone, cable television, and Internet connections
  • the building has about 40 units, each with:
    • four or six single bedrooms
    • one or two baths
    • living room
    • kitchen
    • dining area
    • air conditioning


The Townhouses

Overlooking Benedum Field, the twenty Townhouse units accommodate 160 students. Each Townhouse has eight private bedrooms and is available to seniors.
  • Each apartment has a full kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms
  • Fully air conditioned
  • Meal plan option
  • Open during major vacation periods, except Thanksgiving weekend and Christmas week
