Capacity Building

Members will serve to recruit, train, support, and manage more than 5,000 non-participant volunteers at on-campus and off-campus partner sites.  In addition, members will provide capacity support and training for expanded use of service-learning by faculty at the College and partnering schools. During the program year, we will partner with agencies such as the YMCA Relations Office, Greater Springfield YMCA, Providence Health Systems, Baystate Health Systems, Massachusetts Career Development Institute, Springfield School Volunteers, Springfield College’s Office of Student Volunteer Programs, and the East Campus Outdoor Learning Center.
