Academic Coaching
Members will provide students from Springfield public schools with in-class and out-of-class academic coaching to increase their performance by 5 percent or more in particular subject areas. The school principal will provide additional support and guidance. Academic coaching may take the form of tutoring, small group facilitation, and/or assisting the teacher with large group activities. During the program year, we will partner with agencies such as the Springfield Public Schools, Springfield Day Nursery, and the Massachusetts Career Development Institute.
