English Minor

Many of the courses required for minors may also fulfill or partially fulfill a General Education category. For more information, see the General Education Requirements section of the course catalog. Some courses required for minors may also satisfy courses required for majors. Students pursuing a minor should notify and consult with the appropriate department chair and complete the appropriate paperwork with the Registrar's Office so that it can be noted on the transcript.

This minor requires completion of a minimum of 15 credits of 3 credit courses beyond ENGL 113 and 114. With the guidance of a faculty advisor from the Humanities Department, students may choose to take selected English (ENGL) or Communication (COMM) courses to fulfill the minor, excluding ENGL 100, 203, 231, 232, 234 and 309.
