Residence Hall Closing Information

If you are a student who needs to stay on campus during any break period, you are required to make a request to stay in the open halls by returning a Break Housing Permission Form to the Office of Housing and Residence Life no later than the deadline listed below.

Card access to the front doors will be given only to students who returned their paperwork to the Office of Housing and Residence Life by the deadline.

All College policies will be in effect during this time, including:

• Consuming or distributing alcohol in any of the residence halls during winter break is strictly prohibited.
• There is a no-visitor policy in effect during the break period.
• Students who fail to adhere to these policies will be removed from housing immediately and will not be allowed to return until the official date of opening for the residence halls.
• All students who live on campus are expected to vacate their residence halls immediately after their last final exam. Please observe residence hall quiet hours.
