Executive Board Position Descriptions and Expectations


General Chair

Student Ambassadors The position of general chair is given to a student entering into his/her senior year. The responsibilities of general chair include: presiding over Executive Board meetings, acting as liaison between the advisor and the Executive Board, coordinating the responsibilities of all other board members, and any other duties as assigned by the Executive Board or advisor. Program Coordinator

The programming coordinator is responsible for assisting the advisor with the organization, planning, and execution of all non-training focused programs, including but not limited to: informational meetings, fall retreats, winter socials, trivia nights, service projects, phone-a-thons, closing banquets, and any other duties as assigned by the Executive Board or advisor. Tour Coordinators

Student Ambassadors The tour coordinators work collaboratively to ensure all regular weekday and weekend tours have adequate coverage. The tour coordinators organize and assign ambassadors for large group and specialty tours. Additionally, tour coordinators assist event coordinators with programs such as Fall Open Houses, Private Colleges of Greater Springfield Tours, Junior Days, and Accepted Student Open Houses as they pertain to tours, and any other duties as assigned by the Executive Board or advisor. Event Coordinators

The event coordinators are responsible for the management of student ambassadors at all major Office of Admissions events, including but not limited to: Fall Open Houses, Private Colleges of Greater Springfield Tours, Junior Days, and Accepted Student Open Houses. Additionally, event coordinators are responsible for the organization and facilitation of Campus Clean-Up and any other duties as assigned by the Executive Board or advisor.
