Our Mission:
We are a highly dedicated group of student volunteers whose aim is to welcome, educate, and aid prospective students and families through the college visit process.Prospective Students!
Springfield College is internationally renowned not only as the Birthplace of Basketball ®, but also for innovation that has improved people’s lives and for its Humanics philosophy, which calls for educating the whole person— in spirit, mind, and body— for leadership in service to others. This mission has guided Springfield College since the beginning. In more than 60 countries worldwide, Springfield College’s more than 54,000 alumni are providing leadership and making a difference. Springfield College Student Ambassadors are responsible for welcoming, educating, and assisting prospective students and their families when they visit and tour the College. Taking the College’s nickname, the Pride, quite literally, Student Ambassadors take pride in their roles of showing future students all that Springfield College has to offer, and they’re excited to meet you!

As you probably know by now, the College’s Humanics philosophy is evident in all aspects of academic and co-curricular life and guides the professional and personal development of students. Indeed, Humanics is at the heart of the Student Ambassador program at Springfield College. Springfield College Student Ambassadors put the Humanics philosophy into action, serving as leaders and representatives of the College as they welcome prospective students and their families to campus, educate them about all that the College has to offer, and assist them with anything else they need during their visit. Additionally, Student Ambassadors participate in a wide variety of activities, ranging from community service projects to bowling and more. Their work supports the Office of Admissions and the entire Springfield College community. Become a Student Ambassador and join fellow students who are serving as leaders in service to others.
While you may already be involved in other clubs, sports, and activities at Springfield College, remember that you don’t have to be a Student Ambassador to be an ambassador to Springfield College!
