Springfield College Women's Volleyball Reunion April 24, 2010
Dear Women’s Volleyball Alum,I hope this letter finds you well and having fond memories of the holidays. As I type this letter, it is 25 degrees in New Hampshire with the promise that it’s going to be a very cold -16 degrees tonight! All of this cold and blustery weather has me looking forward to the spring.
Top Five Reasons to Attend the Women’s Volleyball Reunion on April 24:
- 5. To show your support for your awesome alma mater.
- 4. To see for yourself all the incredible changes and facility upgrades on campus.
- 3. To reunite with former teammates and meet new SC connections.
- 2. To impress everyone with your volleyball skills…it’s just like riding a bike.
- 1. To see if you still fit in your spandex!
There has been a change in the format: it will now be a one-day event on Saturday, April 24. We will convene and register in the morning, and then loosen up and re-live our glory days against the current team. Following that victory, we will then have lunch in the new Richard B. Flynn Campus Union. After our social gathering, there will then be tours of the campus, including the new Springfield College athletic facilities and the Campus Union.
Please be sure to mark your calendars for Saturday, April 24. This promises to be a wonderful event that celebrates the history of Springfield College women’s volleyball and gives us a chance to compare our Coach Dearing stories. My favorite one was….
