Student Internships

Springfield College students have a wide range of opportunities to take what they learn in the classroom and gain real-world experience. They do this through three basic types of experiential learning.
  • In our health fields of study, there are clinical education placements, which are handled by the individual departments on campus.
  • In our educational fields of study, there are teaching practicums.
  • In a wide range of other fields of study, there are internships.
Placements, practicums, and internships provide students with valuable work experience outside the college. Such experience is one of the most important factors employers look at when interviewing students and graduates for future positions.

Benefits of Experiential Learning
