Academic Policies and Standards Committee (APS)
The Academic Policies and Standards Committee formulates, reviews and recommends academic policies, procedures, and regulations that governs academic issues.College Curriculum Committee (CCC)
The College Curriculum Committee recommends to the Senate policies and procedures of all curricular matters. The CCC is responsible for appointing volunteer faculty to the following sub-committees of the college curriculum committee: CASL, Writing Across the Curriculum, and Social Justice.Faculty Development Committee (FDC)
The College Faculty Development Committee defines college wide standards for sabbaticals and development. The FDC makes recommendations for sabbatical leaves and also plans and delivers all faculty development programs including the Spring Faculty Institute.Faculty Personnel Committee (FPC)
The Faculty Personnel Committee develops and recommends faculty personnel policies to the Senate. The FPC reviews and recommends changes in the Faculty Personnel Policy and faculty handbook. Additionally, the FPC works to protect the work environments of individual faculty, hears and acts upon grievances involving application of its policies, and represents the faculty in compensation and related discussions.Student Affairs Committee (SAC)
The Student Affairs Committee works in a collaborative manner with the Vice President of Student Affairs / Dean of Students in addressing issues related to students that are appropriate for faculty input. The SAC also researches campus at-large issues as assigned by the Senate President as issues arise.
