YMCA Scholarship Opportunities at Springfield College

A number of opportunities are available for Springfield College undergraduate students who are preparing for a future career in the YMCA through the YMCA Professional Studies Program.

Students who enroll in the Springfield College YMCA Professional Studies Program have the opportunity to apply for the YMCA Matching Scholarship. This Scholarship program has been established to assist local YMCAs in recruiting and educating the next generation of YMCA professionals. When a YMCA provides a Springfield College student with tuition assistance, the College will match that support up to $5000 per year, per association.

YMCA Professional Studies students are also eligible for a variety of scholarships available through the Financial Aid office that are designated specifically to students who are committed to a career in the YMCA. These “non-application” scholarships are awarded directly through the financial aid office and are awarded based on financial need.
