GSO Officers
President: Julia GoldenThe President is asked to oversee various GSO activities and represent the Graduate Class within and outside of Springfield College. The President serves as Chair of the GSO Executive Board. The President also acts as a spokesperson for the GSO in presentation of GSO positions and elucidation of GSO policies. In addition to these responsibilities, the President is asked to prepare the Vice President for transition into the Presidency.
Vice President: Cat Egan
The Vice President is a first year graduate student with a desire to become President of the GSO. The Vice President assists the President in fulfilling all Presidential duties and responsibilities. Experience gained from assisting the President allows the Vice President to assume Presidential duties when the President is absent and when the President’s term has been completed. In addition to assisting the President, the Vice President is responsible for publishing the monthly GSO newsletter and assisting with GSO fund-raising.
Treasurer: Melisa Jaquez
The Treasurer works in cooperation with the Office of Student Activities to manage all GSO financial transactions and conference reimbursements. A permanent record is kept by the Treasurer of all GSO revenues and expenditures. The Treasurer is also responsible for the formation and operation of the Conference Reimbursement Committee.

The Secretary oversees all educational and social programming provided by the Graduate Student Organization. He or she oversees the Programming Committee to ensure that appropriate programming is planned and promoted. Together, the Secretary and Programming Committee promote and plan all GSO events while also maintaining the GSO membership database.
Executive Council Member
Executive Council Members play an integral role in the development and direction of the GSO. Council member responsibilities apply directly to the Executive Board and the General Assembly. As members of the Executive Board, council members are asked to assist in decision making and record minutes from all Executive Board and General Assembly meetings. As key components for the General Assembly, council members are asked to head subcommittees and represent the GSO at various social and political obligations.
