Springfield College now offers dual certification in physical education and health/family and consumer sciences for elementary and secondary levels. This dual licensure program gives Springfield College students a unique advantage by preparing them to become teachers of physical education and health/family and consumer sciences for all grade levels in just four years.

Second Annual Athletic Administration Series

Athletic Administration Series The Athletic Administration graduate program sponsored the second annual Athletic Administration Series event on Nov. 10, 2011. This semester's event was titled "The Changing Landscape of College Athletics". Guest panelists included Tom Yeager, SC'72 G'75 who serves as the Commissioner of the Colonial Athletic Association and Wendy Guthrie G'95 who was previously Commissioner for the West Coast Conference and is serving currently as the Commissioner of the Northwest Conference.

Undergraduate Study in Physical Education and Health Education
