Internships
The Springfield College Athletic Counseling Program has a strong focus on applied experiences. Students typically are involved in several internships. At least one internship in applied sport psychology (3.0 – 16.0 credit hours) is required for degree completion. There are a number of Colleges and Universities in the greater Hartford/Springfield area, as well as across the US and in other countries (Australia, Japan) where Athletic Counseling graduate students have interned.
