“Springfield College's clinical exercise physiology program prepared me for a confident and direct transition into a clinical exercise employment setting. After graduating with a master of science degree in clinical exercise physiology, I felt like I had the proper knowledge, clinical skills, and research experience to obtain employment within any clinical setting and/or continue on in pursuit of higher education (Ph.D.). Not only did the program provide me with the clinical knowledge and skills needed to obtain the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) certification, but the program also prepared me with valuable research experience, networking opportunities, and presentation experience at the ACSM's regional and national levels.”Sean Fournier ‘08, M.S., RCEP
Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Temple Cardiac Rehabilitation
Student Testimonial: Kelly
“The health promotion and disease prevention program at Springfield College helped prepare me for my career as a health promotion coordinator. Graduating with a master's degree in education, I learned how to design, implement, and evaluate health promotion programs. With these set of skills, I was then able to apply what I had learned from the program to successfully develop wellness programs for different companies. This program not only allowed me to understand the need for wellness in the workplace, but helped me realize my passion for employee wellness and allowed me to fully immerse myself in the field of health and wellness.”Kelly O’Rourke, ’08, M.Ed. ’10
