WSCB
WSCB 89.9 FM is Springfield College’s on-campus FM radio station run by students to provide entertainment, news and events. The goal of the station is to provide students with an opportunity to improve their knowledge of the mass medium of radio and enhance individual exploration and creativity within a free-format design of volunteer programming. In addition, this free format design is to better inform and interact with the listening community of the station's service area.
WSCB’s rotation primarily consists of various forms of rock music, however, rap and hip-hop, as well as other various genres, have also made a significant mark. Listeners can tune in to WSCB 89.9 FM for approximately 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.
