Faculty at SHS Milwaukee
Full-time faculty at SHS Milwaukee:Warren Braden
Ed.D., Adult and Continuing Education, Northern Illinois University,1993. BA Chemistry, St. Olaf College. Assistant Dean/Campus Director and Assistant Professor, SHS Milwaukee. Served as Director of Ke Anuenue Area Health Education Center in Hilo, Hawaii from 1997 to 1999. Served as the Assistant Director of the Wisconsin Area Health Education Center System from 1992 to 1997. Has fifteen years of work experience and training in advocacy, diversity training, fundraising, health careers, health promotion, leadership training, non-profit and for-profit management, and program development, implementation and evaluation. He is actively involved in several community based organizations including the Arthritis Foundation of Milwaukee. He is also a member of the American Society of Training and Development.
Nathan Clark
Ph.D., Urban Education-Cultural Foundations, University of WI-Milwaukee, 1984. M.S., Public Administration, Troy State University, 1977. Assistant professor; a passion for academic excellence in adult education, with emphasis on critical thinking, subject-matter expertise and empirical investigation. Retired military and former high-school administrator, with over 40 years experience in education, administration and program management, business consulting and the performing arts.
Rebecca Siehr
Ph.D., Interdisciplinary Studies in Criminology and Victimology, Marquette University, 2004. M.A., Sociology, with concentration in Crime and Deviance, 1991. B.S., Criminal Justice, Mount Senario College, 1987. A.S., Police Science, Waukesha County Technical College, 1986. Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Criminal Justice Program. Background in community service and criminal justice; Previously volunteered in Secure Detention and Victim Witness. Research and field work with Westat and Neighborhood Crime Forum. Owned and operated Private Detective Agency. Academic interests include criminal justice, community collaboration, and research/statistics.

SHS employs full-time faculty who are responsible for teaching, service, and scholarship. The SHS practice-oriented curriculum also includes contributions from part-time faculty who are directly involved in agency and community work. The result is that SHS has a faculty with the flexibility, resources and expertise required to address academics as well as new developments in human services practice and delivery.
