Is Your Choice the Right Choice?
Keep your advisor informed of choices you desire to pursue. Take advantage of his or her expertise and make wise decisions that keep your career goals in focus.Resourceful information is provided
for you in the following links.
The Academic Advising Process
Successful advising occurs when advisors and advisees share the responsibility of this multifaceted ongoing process. Advising begins at admissions where student files are reviewed and a course of study is recommended. A preliminary evaluation of your experiential learning is a vital component of this recommendation.
Adult students bring a rich and varied experience to the program. We want you to capitalize on this expertise to save you both time and money.
So we encourage you to think "I learned" rather than "I did." Information you provide during the admissions process and to your advisor will help guide your program.
