Facility Design Class--Rentschler Field:
  • Sport Management and Athletic Administration graduate students took a trip to Rentschler Field, managed by Madison Square Garden, to tour the stadium and learn about managing facilities.

    The Legal Aspects Course in a court room setting during a case study on risk management.

  • Eli A. Wolff: from the Center for the Study of Sport in Society, Northeastern University
  • Dr. David Legg: from Mt. Royal College, Department of Physical Education and Recreation


    These distinguished speakers addressed the audience about sport opportunities for athletes with disabilities from a sport management perspective. The event was hosted by Carl Fetterol, SC coordinator of United States Center for Sports and Wellness for the Disabled.

  • Roger Lancaster: General Manager Employee Services and Recreation, United States Department of Agriculture


    Mr. Lancaster discussed the field of Recreation and Sport and the dynamic role of the professional recreation manager.

    Trail Maintenance Program: Sport Management and Recreation Department and New York Department of Environmental Conservation

    International Day:
    Grad Seminar Class highlighting customs, games, food, from a global perspective.



    2004 Tennis Spring Fling
    An experiential learning and marketing project for a Sport and Recreation class. This program was run in conjunction with the United States Tennis Association to increase participation in tennis.
