DAVIS EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION AWARDS $236,000 GRANT TO SPRINGFIELD COLLEGE FOR PILOT PROGRAM IN ADVANCED SCIENCE COURSES The Davis Educational Foundation has awarded

SPRINGFIELD COLLEGE NAMES DAVID McMAHON DIRECTOR OF UNITED CAMPUS MINISTRY AND SPIRITUAL LIFE
Springfield College has appointed David L. C. McMahon as director of the United Campus Ministry and Spiritual Life Center. McMahon, who has taught at Boston University School of Theology since 2000 and recently was pastor at Wakefield Lynnfield United Methodist Church in Wakefield, Mass., succeeds Fr. Leo James K. Hoar, who stepped down from his position as director earlier this year due to illness. Read more.

THE SEVENTEENTH ANNUAL SPRINGFIELD COLLEGE GOLF CLASSIC will be held at the Country Club of Wilbraham on September 11. This year's honoree is professor of physical education emeritus Dr. Diane L. Potter. Print a registration form.

August 5, San Diego, Calif. The San Diego Alumni Association presents their annual Padres baseball event vs. the Washington Nationals. A pre-game reception will be held at the Marriott.
September 23, St. Petersburg, Fla. The Suncoast Alumni Association hosts their annual Devil Rays baseball event vs. the New York Yankees, with a pre-game picnic at The Beach.
September 24, Kennett Square, Pa. The Philadelphia Wilmington Alumni Association event at Longwood Gardens. (A Leadership for the 21st Century: The Campaign for Springfield College event.)
September 29-October 1, Springfield, Mass. Family and Friends Weekend
October 1, Northfield, Mass. The Pioneer Valley Alumni Association hosts their annual Connecticut River riverboat cruise event in Northfield.
October 7, Washington, D.C. Baltimore Washington Alumni Association DC United vs. New England Revolution soccer event. Pre-game tailgating in Lot #8.
October 13-15, Springfield, Mass. Homecoming weekend
