With 874 victories through the 2007 campaign and with 35 consecutive winning seasons, the Springfield College women’s volleyball program is one of the most competitive in the nation.
The winningest coach in the history of the program, head coach Joel Dearing ’79, has led his alma mater to nine post-season tournaments, including six NCAA Tournaments, three berths in the national quarterfinals, and six conference titles.
The 2008 squad looks to build upon an impressive 23-10 record from last season and returns NEWMAC Rookie of the Year Bethany Stosz. Joining Stosz on the Pride attack will be AVCA All-New England Honorable Mention selection, senior Aylene Ilkson.
