Michelle Wlosek has been chosen Springfield College's Female Maroon Club Athlete of the Week (Apr. 21) after leading the softball team to a 7-1 week as she was sensational from the plate throughout the week for the Pride.
A native of Nutley, N.J. led the Pride from the plate this week as Springfield went 7-1 and claimed the No. 3 seed in the upcoming NEWMAC Tournament.
The sophomore batted a sensational .583 and had a slugging percentage of 1.000. She knocked in a team-best 12 RBI and had an on base percentage of .667. On the week, Wlosek recorded four doubles and two homers to lead the Pride.
Throughout the week, the Pride swept RPI, Babson, and MIT and split a doubleheader at Williams.
