The Pride lost its opening match of the meet to Johnson and Wales, 25-13, before producing the two victories.
With its two wins, Springfield has become the fourth school in NCAA history to earn 900 victories. The Pride now joins Oklahoma State, Iowa State, and Oregon State as the only schools to have achieved this milestone.
Number 900 came against Plymouth State as the Pride won by a score of 31-18. Springfield then followed that up by picking up win 901 in impressive fashion, cruising past Trinity, 37-4.
Senior Chris DeBlock (Sparta, N.J.) had a big day, finishing 3-0 at 149 pounds. Freshman Blaze Chatham (Walkill, N.Y.) went 2-0 at 133, as did junior Rob Mifsud (Somers, N.Y.) at 165.
