Jenn McBride has been chosen Springfield College's Female Maroon Club Athlete of the Week (Mar.10) after having a standout weekend at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships.
McBride, who hails from Mechanicville, N.Y., was a member of the Pride's 4x220 relay that placed fourth at the Championships. McBride joined teammates Nicole Reynolds, Katie Parente, and Nikki Hay as they picked up All-ECAC honors after crossing the finish line in a time of 1:47.04.
Also running in the 4x440 relay, McBride clocked her best time of the year. The relay team of Reynolds, Sarah Rioux, Hay, and McBride crossed the finish line in a time of 4:06.67.
