SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - March 12, 2008 – Steve Headley and John Lewis have each qualified to compete in this weekend's NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.
Headley is seeded fourth in a field of 14 in the 55-meter dash, an event where he has seen plenty of success all season. Headley's seed time of 6.33 was obtained last weekend at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships.
Heading into the competition as the ninth seed, Lewis looks to build on an already successful indoor campaign. In a field of 12 participants, Lewis' qualifying toss of 17.67m, 57-11 3/4, was recorded on December 8, 2007 at the Harvard Open.
