Men's Track & Field Finishes Second At Conn. College Silfen Invtiational

NEW LONDON, Conn., April 23, 2005 -- Springfield College junior All-American
Bill King (Wilmington, Mass.) won the 200-meter dash in a time of 22.93 seconds as the Pride took second place at the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College on Saturday.
The Pride scored 110 points to finish second in the 12-team field. Coast Guard won the meet with 128.50 points to win the meet.

Alex Kampersal (Natick, Mass.) was victorious in the shot put with a heave of 49 feet-six and 1/4 inches.
SC travels to WPI on Saturday, April 30 for the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference Championship at 11:00 am.
