



SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – October 28, 2007 – The Springfield College women's swimming and diving team dropped its first home meet of the season to Boston College on Sunday afternoon, 185-115, at the Art Linkletter Natatorium.
Moira Price (Berkeley Heights, N.J.) touched first in the 50 yard breaststroke (32.66) and the 100 yard freestyle (55.13) to lead the way for the Pride in the meet. Aimee Doe (Havervill, Mass.) recorded first place finishes in the 50 yard butterfly in a time of 28.07 and the 100 yard butterfly (1:03.66).
Kallie Pottle (Brewer, Maine) recorded second-place finishes in the 100 yard butterfly (1:03.68) and the 100 yard backstroke (1:04.08)
Erin White (Glastonbury, Conn.) captured the 1-meter diving with a score of 239.03 while Melissa Nelson (Wallingford, Conn.) placed second in the 3-meter (232.05).
The Pride's next meet is Nov. 3 when it hosts Smith at 1:00 p.m.
John Taffe enters his 23rd season in 2011-2012 as the head coach of the men's and women's swimming teams at Springfield College. Under Taffe’s leadership, the Pride has returned to its status as one of the best collegiate swimming and diving programs in Division III.Read more.
