Men's Gymnastics Finishes Seventh At ECAC Championship
PHILADELPHIA, PA., March 23, 2002- - Springfield College sophomore
Josh Chasse (Lewiston, Me.) placed first on the still rings (9.400) and 11th in the all-around (50.250) to help the Pride to a seventh place finish at the ECAC Championships Saturday at McGonigle Hall.
Springfield totaled 198.600 in the 11-team field, which featured eight Division I programs. Host Temple claimed the team title with 210.500 points. Massachusetts (208.200), William & Mary (206.700), Navy (204.050), and Illinois-Chicago (202.950) rounded out the top five.
Sophomore
Tim Goetz (South Plainfield, N.J.) finished seventh on floor exercise (8.800), and tenth in the all-around (50.350) for the Pride.

Entering his 30th season as head men's gymnastics coach, Dr. Steve Posner is recognized as one of the most outstanding gymnastics coaches in the East.
