

The Pride were led by Craig DiFranco (East Longmeadow, Mass.) who finished with a two-round score of 150, which placed him in a tie for sixth overall in the Championship.
DiFranco shot a 77 in the first round on the par-71 Chicopee Country Club in Chicopee, Mass. on Saturday. On Sunday afternoon, DiFranco fired the second-lowest round of the day as he shot a 2-over 73 to propel the Pride to a third-place finish.
As a team, the Pride finished tied for third out of 20 teams and finished with a combined score of 624 strokes. Trinity College won the event with a combined score of 599.
Junior Greg Levings (Averill Park, N.Y.) tied for 10th overall with a combined score of 153 strokes (76, 77).
Others who competed for the Pride were junior Kyle Hicks (Enfield, Conn.) who also finished tied for 49th with a combined score of 167 strokes (86, 81), while Aaron Simons (Enfield, Conn.) finished 66th with a combined score of 177 strokes (90, 87).
DiFranco and the Pride return to action on Wednesday at the Nicols Bison Invitational.
