Williams Wins 2005 Div. III New England Men's Track & Field Championships; Host Springfield Finishes Fourth
Thursday, May 5 Friday, May 6 Saturday, May 7 Decathlon Day 1 Decathlon Day 2 Final ResultsSPRINGFIELD, Mass., May 7, 2005 – Williams College won its 13th team title in the last 15 seasons at the Division III New England Men’s Track & Field Championships, hosted by Springfield College. Williams totaled 167.50 points, followed by defending champion MIT (99.5), Bates (72.5), Springfield (54), and Tufts (52) to round out the top-five team scores.

Head Coach Ken Klatka
Ken Klatka, enters his 36th season as head coach of the men’s track and field program in 2010-2011. He ranks among the nation’s most successful coaches, with an overall record of 433 wins, 141 losses, and two ties for an impressive .753 winning percentage. Under his direction, Kevin Coyle '12 won the 2011 Division III Indoor Long Jump National Championship.
