The Springfield College men's tennis program, which dates back to 1909, has an impressive tradition. Through the 2008 season, SC's all-time record is 554-383-16, which translates into a .590 winning percentage. From 1985 to 1995, SC won six conference team titles, and produced 25 individual and 14 doubles conference champions. In the past three years (2006, 2007, 2008), Springfield College has been the recipient of New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Rookie of the Year honors twice. Andrew Constant ’09 was tabbed NEWMAC Rookie of the Year in 2006, while Trevor Romanzi '10 won similar honors in '07. In 2007, SC finished 8-7 overall, 3-2 in the conference, and reached the semifinals of the NEWMAC post-season tourney. In 2008, Springfield finished 7-6 overall, 4-1 in the conference, and once again reached the semis of the NEWMAC post-season tourney. Romanzi was named Second Team All-NEWMAC singles.
