



Springfield College Softball Clinic (.pdf)Springfield, Mass. - January 27, 2010 - The two-time defending New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Champion Springfield College softball team will be hosting a clinic on March 6th in the Springfield College Fieldhouse.
The clinic will consist of two sessions as participants are welcome to either participate in one or both of the sessions. The cost of the clinic is $35 for one session, or $55 for both sessions.
The first session, from 9:00 to 11:30 am, will focus primarily on infielders, and will touch on such skills as hitting mechanics and base-running technique. The second session, taking place from 12:00 noon to 2:30 pm, will be geared towards outfielders, pitchers, and catchers, and will work on hitting mechanics, base-running technique, and situations, along with other skills.

Julie Perrelli enters her third season at the helm of the Springfield College softball program and as an assistant professor of physical education. In her first two seasons in the dugout for the Pride, Perelli has guided Springfield to the NEWMAC Championship title game. Read more.
