Women's Lacrosse Falls To No. 6 Williams College, 14-7
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., March 13, 2004 – Springfield College junior Erin Looney (West Springfield, Mass.) scored three goals, but the Pride lost to No. 6 Williams College on Saturday in its season opener, 14-7, at Benedum Field.
Williams College senior All-American Molly Jennings scored a game-high five goals for the Ephs (1-0), and junior Crista Petrell chipped in with four goals.
SC sophomore Holly Carmody (Wayland, Mass.) had one goal for the Pride along with two assists in the second half. SC sophomore Kendra Gilpatric (Plymouth, N.H.) saved 10 shots for the Pride on Saturday.
The Pride hosts Salve Regina in a 7 p.m. non-conference contest on Tuesday, March 23.

Kristen Mullady ‘00, enters her second season as the head women’s lacrosse coach at Springfield College. A former standout for Springfield’s women’s lacrosse team, Mullady led Springfield to the NEWMAC Tournament Championship in her first season on the sidelines.
