Results From Springfield Women's Volleyball Invitational Day 2
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Sept. 6, 2003- Springfield College sophomore outside hitter
Ashley Reves (Orchard Park, N.Y.) totaled a match-high 15 kills to earn tournament MVP honors and lead the Pride to victory over Brandeis University, 3-0, (30-16, 30-26, 30-22) in the championship match of the SC Invitational.

Alesia Vaccari (Winsted, Conn.) was also named to the All-Tournament team after compiling 37 assists and 13 digs in the tournament final.
The Pride (4-0) rolled to its second tournament title in two years, winning four straight matches without dropping a game.

Head Coach Joel Dearing

Joel Dearing will enter his 22nd season as head women's volleyball coach at his alma mater in the fall of 2010. Dearing is regarded nationally as one of the sport’s best coaches and he has the resume to prove it. Dearing ranks in the top-10 in Division III history with a 697-305 (.695) overall mark in 29 seasons as a women’s volleyball coach.
