SPRINGFIELD, Mass., March 12, 2004 – Rutgers-Newark junior outside hitter Andrew Pink (Evanston, Ill) totaled a match-high 24 kills and a .647 hitting percentage to lead the Scarlet Raiders to a 3-0 (30-26, 30-21, 30-24) sweep of Springfield College in EIVA Tait Division action this evening in Blake Arena

Junior swing hitter Brandon Mueller (Bartlett, Ill.) compiled a team-high 12 kills for the Springfield (5-10, 3-6 EIVA Tait), ranked No. 2 in the latest AVCA Division III poll.

Scarlet Raider junior setter Aleks Ondelj (Orlando, Fla.) was credited with 38 assists, while leading Rutgers (10-5, 7-2 EIVA Tait) to a .373 hitting percentage.

The Pride continues its EIVA-Tait match weekend, traveling to Princeton, N.J. tomorrow to take on the Tigers in a 5 p.m. match. SC defeated Princeton, 3-0 on March 6.
