SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Feb. 11, 2005 - Springfield College senior middle blocker
Jacob Voorhies (Rochester, N.Y.) totaled seven kills on 11 swings for a .636 hitting percentage to go along with five blocks as the third-ranked Pride swept Vassar College, 3-0 (30-18, 30-25, 30-27) in men’s volleyball this evening in Blake Arena.

Neil Starzynski (Frontier, N.Y.) and sophomore outside hitter
Kevin Lail (Clovis, Calif.) also added seven kills apiece for the Pride (2-6), which is 2-0 against Division-III competition this winter.
Sophomore outside hitter Matt Bninski totaled a match-high 16 kills, while senior outside hitter Steve Gilhool added 11 kills for the Brewers (2-7).
SC plays the seventh of nine-straight home matches on Saturday (Feb. 12), taking on Division I Princeton University at 7:00 p.m. in Blake Arena.
