Men's Lacrosse Shuts Out Clark, 27-0
WORCESTER, Mass. - April 16, 2003 - Springfield College junior attackman Paul Purdy (Brewster, Mass.) scored four goals and four assists to lead the Pride to a 27-0 shutout of Clark University in Pilgrim League action this afternoon in Worcester.
Freshman attackman Taylor Brown (Portsmouth, R.I.), the reigning ECAC Division III New England and Pilgrim League Player of the Week, added three goals and four assists for SC (6-4, 3-0 Pilgrim). Thirteen players scored at least one goal for the Pride, which has won five of its last six games.
