Graduation Center for Students
The Graduation Center will be open from Thursday, February 28, through Saturday, March 1, 2008, in Dining Room B of Cheney Hall. Academic regalia is required at Commencement and Baccalaureate, and graduating students are asked to visit the Graduation Center to purchase caps and gowns and to verify that their degree application is in order. Representatives of the Career Services Office, the Alumni Office, the Registrar’s Office, and the Senior Class will be available to distribute information and respond to questions. Graduating students will also be able to purchase class rings and graduation announcements from either Herff-Jones or Jostens. The Graduation Center hours are as follows:
Friday, February 29, 2008 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday, March 1, 2008 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Those who are unable to attend the Graduation Center can order their cap and gown by calling the Springfield College Bookstore at 413-748-3597. Personalized announcements and rings can be ordered directly from Herff-Jones (www.herffjones.com or 1-800-837-4235). Generic announcements and rings can be ordered from Jostens (www.Jostens.com or 1-800-854-7464). School of Human Services Campus Directors will provide information on ordering caps and gowns to students at their respective campuses.

*Master’s and Doctoral students must purchase both a unit and hood.
There is a shipping charge of $12.95 if ordered through the mail.
