Directions to Springfield College

From Points East and West

1. Take Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 6.
2. Turn left to Interstate 291 West.
3. Proceed one mile to Exit 5 (East Springfield, Indian Orchard).
4. After you turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 20A, you should be prepared to get in the left lane.
5. Take immediate left at traffic signal onto Roosevelt Avenue.
6. Proceed three miles to Alden Street.
7. Turn right onto Alden Street and proceed .5 miles to campus.

From Points North

1. Take Interstate 91 (South).
2. Exit onto Interstate 291.
3. Follow 291 for 4.2 miles to Exit 5B (Route 20A West, East Springfield).
4. After you turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 20A, you should be prepared to get in the left lane.
5. Take immediate left at traffic signal onto Roosevelt Avenue.
6. Proceed three miles to Alden Street.
7. Turn right onto Alden Street and proceed .5 miles to campus.

From Points South

1. Take Interstate 91 (North).
2. Take Exit 2 (Route 83).
3. Follow Route 83 to second traffic signal.
4. Turn right onto Sumner Avenue.
5. Proceed 2.1 miles to Roosevelt Avenue on left.
6. Proceed through two traffic lights and bear left at next stop sign remaining on Roosevelt Avenue for .5 miles to Alden Street (first left at bridge).
7. Turn left on Alden Street and proceed .5 miles to campus.

Parking:

Officers from the Department of Public Safety will direct guests to the designated parking areas. Signs will be posted to indicate handicap parking/drop-off areas. Please note that parking is limited and is not adjacent to the Naismith Green. It is recommended that you arrive early in order to allow sufficient time to walk from the parking areas to the Commencement Ceremony.
