Why do you give to Springfield College athletics?
I give to SC athletics because I was a student-athlete. I look back on my time at SC and remember funds needed for uniforms, warm ups, travel expenses, etc. I also had a great time building friendships and want those opportunities for future student-athletes.
What impact do you think your gifts have on student-athletes?
I hope my gifts have afforded a student-athlete the same opportunities I had.
How can coaches use philanthropic support to advance the student-athlete experience?
Coaches can be great ambassadors to future donors on behalf of student-athletes. The support gained through coaches' relationships with past student-athletes can help drive further support. Coaches also know first-hand the needs of student-athletes.
What teams do you support and why?
As a former Track and Field athlete, it was natural for me to want to support the women's team. The memories and friendships I made, and the life lessons I learned from my experiences have been invaluable to me.
What was your most memorable experience as a student-athlete or supporter of athletics at Springfield College?
My most memorable experience as a student-athlete was competing on the XC and track and field teams for four years. Each day was a challenge, but worth it.

I would like others to know that giving back to an institution that has given so much to me is very important to me.
